Bergdorf Goodman's Holiday Windows
Our field trip to view Bergdorf Goodman's holiday windows was the advent activity for December 2. We both agreed this year's display wasn't quite as show-stopping as last year’s (also here and here). The streets were downright quiet compared to the usual hustle and bustle of midtown. Perhaps it's my imagination, but I think our collective mood is still dampened by Hurricane Sandy.

I saw these windows the other day and they were utterly dazzling. I always wonder what goes through the minds of these creative directors when they're planning these displays.
What a great advent idea! Sister C and I are loving the advent calender. Every time I see her she asks "Do we know what Shawn got for his advent calendar today?" Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve :)
